UCI Counseling Center

The Counseling Center provides UCI students with a broad range of mental health services including individual, couple, family, and group counseling and psychotherapy. It also provides urgent care, crisis response, consultations, and outreach programs for the university community. Services are confidential and free of charge to enrolled students.

Campus Assault Resources and Education (CARE)

CARE offers free and confidential support services to members of the UCI community impacted by sexual assault, relationship abuse, family violence and/or stalking. This includes consultations, advocacy and referrals to community agencies, individual and group counseling, trainings and workshops and campus-wide prevention programming. CARE also provides resources and information on developing and maintaining healthy relationships, sexual assault, personal safety and gender issues.

Center for Student Wellness and Health Promotion

The Center for Student Wellness and Health Promotion empowers students to make informed decisions to support individual health and a healthy campus environment. The Center provides comprehensive programs and coordinated services to: build awareness through assessment and goal-setting, create balance by taking a wellness-based approach to health, develop healthy and sustainable habits, take pride in achieving your personal best, and inspire community by leading fellow Anteaters to be healthy.

UCI Student Health Center (SHC)

The SHC provides medical, mental health and wellness services to all registered UC Irvine students, regardless of insurance coverage. Most services are provided through scheduled appointments. However, walk-in and same day appointments for more urgent needs are also available.

The Office of the Campus Social Worker supports UCI students during situations and crises that may be impacting their personal and academic well-being through short-term resource referrals and long-term case management. Services are available to the entire UCI community at no cost.

As part of UC Irvine's commitment to helping all members of our community prioritize mental health and personal wellness, UCI Be Well offers a tool for searching UCI wellness programs and initiatives for undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff in areas of emotional, physical, academic, social, cultural, career, financial, sexual, environmental, and spiritual wellness.

From workshops and programs to counseling and basic needs support, UCI Be Well combines a vast array of available campus resources here.

FreeRehabCenters.Org

FreeRehabCenters.org is about providing the most complete list of free, low cost, sliding scale, and low income assisted rehab list on the Internet. They provide free mental health and substance abuse resources for every stage of the recovery journey. These include treatment options, warning signs, guidance for families, treatment definitions, and a local treatment center directory. A free and confidential 24/7 rehab helpline is offered.
