WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

Join us for the eighth and final workshop of the series! Teams competing in the final round of the New Venture Competition are required to pitch to judges on May 12th. Teams will give a 10-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute Q&A session. Learn more about what is expected and how to succeed.

If you have any questions regarding the presentation on May 13th, we encourage you to attend!

Topic: How to Write a Winning Concept Paper

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

Join us for the fourth workshop of the series! This workshop will teach attendees how to create a concept paper. Attending this workshop is strongly recommended, as Concept Papers are a requirement of the competition and are due on March 12, 2022. Concept papers are required to be similar to an executive summary and should be no longer than 3-pages.

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

To be successful in the New Venture Competition, you need more than just a great idea - you need great research - and the UCI Libraries are here to help! This workshop will focus on key library databases for conducting industry, market, and company research. Learn how to navigate these resources to find industry outlook and market size information, identify and research competitors, and use these reliable sources of information to strengthen your concept papers and pitches.
