Join us for the First Annual West Coast Credible Messengers @ UC Irvine Colloquium: A Grassroots Approach to Juvenile Justice — a transformative gathering grounded in community, lived expertise, and social change. Presented in partnership with LOCOS (Leading Our Children Off Streets), this event is more than just a colloquium — it's a movement.
We are proud to announce our Keynote Speaker: Alberto Lule — UC Irvine MFA graduate, co-founder of the Credible Messengers Creative Arts Program at Orange County Juvenile Hall, and the first-ever formerly incarcerated professor to teach a Bachelor's degree course at Centinela Prison through San Diego State University.
Alberto is a visionary committed to innovation, art, and education, building trauma-informed, community-based programs that are changing both lives and systems.
We are also honored to have Spanky Loco and Flaco Rising as our Moderators — respected leaders who bring powerful lived experience and street-rooted wisdom to guide the conversation.
Come connect, learn, and help us shape the future of juvenile justice.
