The SKY Campus Happiness Program is designed to teach the SKY Meditation technique, a scientifically validated meditative breathing practice that can significantly increase one's well-being and calmness, reduce anxiety and stress biomarkers, and improve mental focus. The course features interactive group processes, experiential learning, breathing techniques, yoga, and meditation. Students gain valuable skills to better navigate the personal, social, and academic landscape and pressures of college. The ultimate goal of the course is to increase the Happiness Quotient of UCI by promoting well-being, harmony, service, and leadership, thereby creating a stress and violence free campus.
