Mission
The purpose of S.A.F.I.R.E. at UCI is to empower, provide resources and create a safe environment for Undocumented/DACA/Non-DACA/AB 540 students and those impacted by immigration policies. In collaboration with allies, faculty, family, and friends, our vision is to raise awareness and highlight the social, political, and economic issues the undocumented community faces on campus and beyond. Finally, S.A.F.I.R.E at UCI seeks to incorporate and celebrate the spectrum of identities, experiences, and stories of undocumented people.
