SRC Leadership Certificates

This event is part of the "Environment @ Intersection" leadership certification series. It will provide an overview of Intersectional Environmentalism and elaborate on the struggles and experiences of unhoused individuals in LA, presentation by College Corps Fellow, Pam Lamas. Come learn more about the stigma revolving around this intersectionality and some of the real life solutions and implications to help.

Participants will walk away with some goodies and knowledge!

The UCI Sustainability Resource Center presents Student Environmentalism, in collaboration with the UCI Basic Needs Center. This event will provide an overview of Intersectional Environmentalism, whilst explaining the major role students have, and elaborate on why basic needs are necessary to achieve positive change.

This event counts towards the Environment @ Intersection series for participants interested in getting leadership certified.

Participants will walk away with freebies and vital knowledge about how the student body does impact the environment.

Interested in engineering or sustainable innovations?

"Sustainable Innovations" is part of the SRC's Sustainable Development Goals leadership series. This event will go over SDG 5, 7, 16, and 17 followed by a educational presentation from Engineers for a Sustainable World. This is a great opportunity to learn more about creative solutions to battle the ever changing environment.

"Water is Life" is part of the SRC's Sustainable Development Goals leadership series. This event will go over SDG 6, 13, and 14 followed by a educational presentation on everything water by Dr. Dave Feldman of Water UCI!
