Psychology Student Association's annual Career and Networking Fair is a free online event dedicated to providing all UCI students, whether majoring in psychology or interested in the field, an opportunity to strengthen their professional skills and network with other like-minded individuals and industry professionals.
RSVP now to join us on Wednesday, May 10th from 6-8 PM on Zoom for a chance to learn and hear more about potential career opportunities, graduate school, and life after undergrad from returning UCI Alumni and other guest speakers from different backgrounds in psychology. Attendees will also have a chance to be entered into a raffle to win a $25 Target gift-card! We hope to see you there!

Dr. Roslyn Caldwell
Department Chair & Associate Professor, Clinical Forensic Psychology
The Chicago School of Professional Psychology
Dr. Roslyn M. Caldwell is currently the Department Chair and Associate Professor in the Clinical Forensic Psychology Department at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles and Anaheim campuses. Dr. Caldwell received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Irvine and her doctorate in Clinical/Counseling/School Psychology (with an emphasis in clinical and forensic psychology) from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She completed an APA accredited predoctoral internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and received training in a wide range of clinical related settings including neuropsychology, school/educational, and forensic psychology. Within the forensic setting, Dr. Caldwell was trained in child-custody evaluations, sex offender treatment, school and educational assessments, and juvenile justice and rehabilitation related evaluations. Dr. Caldwell also received specialized training in criminal competencies and restoration, civil commitment evaluations, and the treatment of mentally disordered offenders by completing an APA accredited postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Medicine and the Missouri Department of Mental Health.
Dr. Caldwell’s clinical and research experiences emphasize areas related to multiculturalism, mental health programming, and program evaluation and treatment effectiveness among adolescent youth and adult female offenders. Her research aims to: 1) bring attention and awareness to racial, ethnic, cultural, gender, and socio-economic issues among clinical and correctional populations; and 2) establish evidence-based prevention and intervention programs that focus on these issues which impact treatment and legal decision making, particularly among African American and Latinx populations.
Dr. Lori Ochoa

Dr. Lori Ochoa received her BA degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from UC Irvine in 2003. She received her doctoral degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) specializing in self-development, human behavior, wellness and empowerment coaching. She has been coaching, training, and working with individuals to maximize their potential for over 15 years. She utilizes evidence-based methods such as Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), behavioral principles, as well as personal development strategies to help her clients achieve goals in all areas of their life. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Behavior Analysis department at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Anaheim campus. She is also the Executive Director and co-founder of Bloom Behavioral Health, a company specializing in providing behavioral therapy to children with developmental disabilities in Orange County, CA. She is passionate about empowering, supporting and coaching others to optimize their wellbeing and live a rich, full, and meaningful life.
Dr. Gary Bruss

Dr. Bruss completed an APA accredited pre-doctoral internship and a post-doctoral fellowship at The Institute of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He spent an additional nine years as a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Pennsylvania hospital where he functioned as a teacher, clinician, and researcher, as well as a faculty member in the APA accredited pre-doctoral internship program. He also held the position of Associate Director of the Acute Inpatient Psychiatry Unit for several years. His clinical research background includes working as an Associate in the Dave Garroway Laboratory for the Study of Depression. He has published and presented his findings at several national scientific conferences. He also held an appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. His professional experience also includes his work as a psychotherapist, psychodiagnostician, and consultant. His interests include psychopathology, psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychological testing, and infertility medicine. Dr. Bruss has served the program in an administrative and teaching capacity since its inception in 2001 at both the American School of Professional Psychology, and now at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Dr. Jay Finkelman
Department Chair, I/O, Business Psychology & Professor

Previously Dr. Finkelman was Vice President of Academic Affairs and Chief Academic Officer of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Before that he was Professor and System-wide Director of Alliant International University's California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP), Organizational Psychology Division. He served as a senior manager, consultant and expert witness in employment, staffing and human resources management for over two decades. He has had hundreds of retentions and depositions and testified at trial, as an expert in employment practices, 52 times, equally for plaintiffs and defendants. He authored over 100 publications, including co-author of three books: The Psychologist Manager: Success Models for Psychologists in Executive Positions (Hogrefe Publishing, 2013), The 7 Attributes of Highly Competitive Staffing Firms (Crain Communications, Inc., 2010), and The Role of Human Factors In Computers (Human Factors Society, 1977).
Dr. Finkelman is an Industrial and Forensic Psychologist as well as a Certified Professional Ergonomist. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial / Organizational Psychology from New York University and an M.B.A. in Industrial Psychology from the Bernard M. Baruch School of Business of The City College of The City University of New York (CUNY). He was a tenured full professor of Industrial Psychology at The City University of New York as well as Dean of Students at Baruch College. He also served on the Doctoral Faculty in Business, specializing in Organizational Behavior, at the Graduate Center of CUNY. Dr. Finkelman specializes in Human Resources, workplace investigations, leadership, staffing industry management practices, training, employment discrimination (gender, age, race, and disability), sexual harassment, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), Return to Work, compensation practices, executive compensation, wage & hours, independent contractor status, conflict of interest, negligent hiring/retention, wrongful termination, adverse impact, performance appraisal, psychometrics, statistical analysis, human factors and ergonomics.
