About Us
The Minority Association of Pre-Health Students is an organization on campus that serves as a support group for individuals interested in pursuing a career in health care. MAPS provides resources to its members in order to enable them to succeed during their matriculation through UC Irvine, as well as in order to help them become a competitive applicant when applying to graduate school. MAPS also tries to impact younger students by outreaching, and providing advice and support to minority high school students. MAPS is under the umbrella organization Student National Medical Association (SNMA), a nationally recognized organization with chapters at many universities and college campuses.
