Please join us in welcoming Evan Phoenix to the Law School who will be presenting on the ABA Section of Taxation Brunswick Fellowship and Tax Implications of Gambling Activity. Evan is a Senior Staff Attorney at Public Law Center and Director of the Federal Tax Clinic, Evan was a former Brunswick fellow from 2019-2021, and he will be sharing insights into the fellowship application process for individuals interested in pursuing a tax-related public interest project. He will highlight various funding opportunities, including the ABA Brunswick fellowship and the Equal Justice Works fellowship. He will also share strategies for assessing community needs to help students define the parameters of their proposed projects. Please RSVP as lunch will be provided!
