About Us

IPC at UCI is the associated student branch of the global organization IPC, the Association Connecting Electronics Industries (formerly known as Institute of Printed Circuits or Institute for Interconnecting and Packaging Electronic Circuits) is a trade association whose aim is to standardize the assembly and production requirements of electronic equipment and assemblies. Our goal is the educate individuals interested in the research, development, and manufacturing process of electronic products through hands-on projects, workshops, and information sessions. Through the global organization, company tours, certifications, and many other benefits are offered. Through these efforts, we hope people who have at least some interest in electronics grow a deeper appreciation and understanding on how their electronics are created for use in the daily life through hands-on projects, education of industry software and engineering concepts, and much more with the focus on circuit board design. As a result, engineering students have a greater advantage when it comes to finding employment, for future promotions, and are able to broaden their expertise. Other students can benefit from picking up a new hobby that can help them with their ideas and projects in the future.
