Andrew Gregory
Andrew Gregory is a sixth-year graduate student in the Department of Psychological Science at the University of California, Irvine, studying how threat and uncertainty affect our emotions, coping behavior, and cognitions. His dissertation deals with climate change, and how worry about the environment can simultaneously inhibit and facilitate eco-friendly behavior. His research utilizes a wide variety of methods, from lab experiments to mobile experience sampling and linguistic analysis. Andrew has also used his expertise in psychology and emotion to impart new research to the readers of popular media publications including Time Magazine and New York Magazine.
