Are you looking to make some writing progress on your thesis, dissertation, or any academic paper? Are you missing peer support? Are you looking for some structure to help you sit down and actually write?! Well then this Boot Camp is for you. Join our GPSRC Writing Consultant for a full day of dedicated writing time.

This boot camp is based on our famous Dissertation Boot Camp. You will follow a schedule of structured writing time and breaks. You will meet over Zoom to set goals, build community, and write!

Speakers

Katie Turner

Katie Turner is in the Cognitive Sciences program, studying auditory neuroscience - how the ears and brain function and interact. Her in-progress dissertation examines tinnitus, auditory brainstem function, and various aspects of sound perception. She recently learned how to make beer bread and how nicely an ironing board can work as a portable, adjustable desk. And she really enjoys reading/hearing in writing appointments about so many interesting and diverse research projects happening across UCI!
