We invite you to join us for a creative and uplifting community event centered around Neurographic Art; a relaxing, meditative drawing technique known to help calm the mind and support mental well-being. In this hands-on session, we’ll be using watercolor paints to explore this unique art form that connects creativity with mindfulness. The workshop has the capacity for the first 32 participants who check in at the Verano Community Center, Saturday, July 12th at 9:45a.m. The workshop will be held from 10:00a.m.-11:30a.m. GFH students, staff and family who are neurodiverse or live with a disability are strongly encouraged and very welcome to attend.

After the workshop, stay for our "Brushstrokes of Belonging" Exhibition from 12:00 - 3:00p.m. Our exhibition will be showcasing artwork from talented students who attend the Orange County Therapeutic Art Center (OCCTAC) and participants who attended the Neurographic Art Workshop that morning. The exhibition will feature young artists who have explored a variety of mediums throughout the year, guided by the dedicated and passionate teaching staff of OCCTAC. Students of OCCTAC are either neurodiverse or live with a disability. Join us we proudly celebrate their creativity and individuality through powerful visual expressions.

We hope to see you there!!
