Established in Spring of 2001, F.U.S.I.O.N. (Filipinos Unifying Scientist-Engineers In an Organized Network) was designed to enhance and support the life of students in technical majors or with technical interests. Initially, FUSION was created in response to the lack of Filipinx representation in the technical world, but it has gone on to provide a strong network of support no matter the ethnicity.
We offer a wide variety of opportunities for our general members to expand their social and professional networks, gain valuable project experience, and immerse themselves in the facets of Filipinx culture.
We will help you succeed in your classes with our study hours programs! We will also help you prepare for the workplace with hands-on Engineering workshops, resume help, and networking panels!
We strive to make you feel welcome and at ease in your journey here at UCI. We provide social support through our family and mentorship programs and plenty of hangout opportunities to socialize!
We want to bring out the Filipinx culture among UCI students by exploring Filipinx traditions. We welcome those who are interested in joining our cultural meetings and Alyansa collaborations!
With Fall 2020 being our first time starting off the academic year in a remote-learning environment, FUSION hopes to help students navigate this virtual space with confidence. We will continue to work towards making sure that our programs are accessible and enjoyable for all of our members.
We are excited to help FUSION members navigate the challenges that come with this year's remote-learning environment. We hope to offer equally enjoyable programs even though we are far away from each other.
