About Us

Furries at UCI is a social club for UCI students within the furry fandom, a community that takes interest in anthropomorphic animal characters. We aim to create a safe environment for students to connect with others within the furry fandom, foster friendships, receive support from peers, and freely express their creativity and personality through unique animal characters. We host regular meetings for club members to socialize and play games, as well as provide resources for local furry events.

Furries at UCI utilizes Telegram for communication between club members.

Why do we use Telegram? Telegram is popular within the furry community as it provides many features free-of-charge—these features mainly being:

  • Custom sticker packs (allowing users to express themselves with furry-themed sticker packs, sometimes with their own characters)
  • Large file uploads (useful for sharing high-quality artwork)
  • Extensive Privacy settings

Our Telegram group chat is the most active chat for our club, which is why we highly recommend joining it.
