Details

Holly Westfalll, a graduate student in the Cognitive Sciences Department and member of Dr. Michael Lee's Bayesian Modeling Lab, will detail her journey as a scientist, the research taking place in her lab, and why it is important. She will explain to us her most recent project on using cognitive models to try to understand how semantic memory (memory for facts) changes with cognitive impairment caused by Alzheimer's disease.

Holly Westfall is a current graduate student in the Cognitive Sciences Department in the process of earning a PhD in Cognitive Science. She is part of Dr. Michael Lee's Bayesian Modeling lab where they focus on the development, evaluation, and application of models of cognition including representation, memory, learning, and decision making, with a special focus on individual differences and collective cognition.
