Happy Friday everyone!

This is a reminder to RSVP for our next meeting on Tuesday (2/23) at 7:00pm to learn more about UROP and research opportunities at UCI. Jerry McMillan will be explaining the purpose of UROP and SURP, as well as upcoming proposal deadlines, how to get involved in research at UCI, how advisors can help students, and any common misconceptions students may have about these topics. This is a great opportunity to learn more about how to get started with research or gain research experience and we hope to see you there!

Get Involved in Research (UROP)

If you’re unable to make it to our meeting next week, but would still like to find research opportunities, this workshop is for you! On Wednesday (2/24) from 3:00 - 5:00 pm, UROP will be hosting a workshop that provides valuable information on why and how to get involved in research on and off campus. They’ll also explain ways that UROP can assist you throughout your research career at UCI. Register today!

CSA Board + Committee Applications!

The CSA is still taking applications for board and committee members for the upcoming academic year! Applications for President, Internal Vice President, External Vice President, Treasurer, Communications Chair, and all committees are all available on our Campusgroups page and in the links below. If you’d like more information on any of the individual positions, feel free to email us. We look forward to receiving your applications!
 

UCI @ HOMEcoming!

UCI Homecoming has been a long-standing tradition full of events and activities that are fun for all Anteaters as well as their family and friends, and this year is no exception. Call your UCI friends and family together and partake in this year's UCI Stay @ HOMEcoming, where you'll have the opportunity to cheer on the Anteater men's basketball team, compete in student vs. alumni games, and learn from distinguished faculty and guest speakers. Homecoming will be held on February 26th and 27th, so be sure to REGISTER ASAP! For more information, check out the UCI Homecoming website.

CSA Resume-Builder Resources - A document of resources compiled by CSA’s Opportunities Committee. This doc contains links to videos and courses to help you build up skills that are useful in the many areas of cognitive science, and will look great on your resume!
