This is a quick reminder for you to RSVP to our upcoming meeting.
Get ready to polish up your resumes! Next Tuesday (1/26) at 7:00 pm we will be having a resume workshop hosted by the Princeton Review. Kristine Cather, the Princeton Review's Grad Program Market Manager, will be going over different details, big and small, you should include (or exclude) in your resume that will make you stand out to schools and employers. RSVP today!
If you'd like to partake in the workshop but don't have a resume at hand, have no fear! Check out these sample resumes put together by the Division of Career Pathways. There are different resumes to sample from depending on the school or profession of your interest, so feel free to peruse the variety of options provided.
UROP Summer Research Opportunities!
Next Wednesday (1/27) from 3:00-5:00pm, the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program will be holding a presentation on summer research opportunities this year provided by UCI. If you are looking into careers that involve research or clinical studies, this may be a good opportunity for you! If you’re interested in attending, register through the UROP RSVP page on campusgroups.
Resume Lab
On February 18, from 1:00-2:00pm, UCI will be holding a resume lab virtually. During this time, students can get pointers on how to improve their own resume and receive individual feedback through career advisors. If you are unable to attend our resume workshop in the upcoming week, this event would be another great opportunity for you. RSVP today through handshake!
