This is a reminder to RSVP for next Tuesday’s meeting (4/20) at 7:00pm for a Publication Processing Workshop presented by Dr. Megan Peters. If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to publish an article in a journal, attend this meeting! Dr. Peters will go over criteria for authorship, the submission process, the review and revision process, as well as the expected timeline for publication. This is an opportunity to ask any questions you may have regarding the publication process so be sure to take advantage of this opportunity. We hope to see you there!

UCI Brain Dialogue Series - Consciousness
Tune in on Monday, April 19th, from 6:30-8:00pm for a discussion with faculty across UCI during UCI’s Brain Dialogue Series. This event will focus on consciousness as a component of their spring dialogue series, “4C The Future.” Take the opportunity to listen to the different perspectives of this event’s panelists, Drs. Yama Akbari, Donald Hoffman, Megan Peters, and Theresa Jean Tanenbaum, as they discuss the mysteries of consciousness and free will. Register HERE.
Lab Manager Position Opportunity
The psychology department at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, has a full-time lab manager/research specialist position available in the lab of Dr. Qiong Zhang, to begin around September 1st, 2021. Responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including designing, programming, and executing behavioral experiments, data analysis, subject recruitment. The lab manager will be assisting with studies of how humans search their memories, and design methods to further improve their recalls. Depending on qualifications/interest, the lab manager may also assist with developing computational models of memory. For more
