Hi Everyone! We hope you had a great first week of the spring quarter.
This is a reminder to RSVP to our meeting next Tuesday, where we’ll be discussing how to get into research at UCI. Whether you’re a student who hasn’t participated in a lab yet or a student who has experience but is looking for other opportunities, this meeting is a great opportunity to learn about getting involved in research at UCI. We’ll be going over how to start your research lab search from square zero, how to approach professors whose lab you’d like to participate in, tips for applying for labs, and you’ll even get to hear some lab experiences from CSA members. Check out these upcoming workshops hosted by UCI's Division of Career Pathways:
- Preparing for the Virtual Interview (Tuesday 4/6, 2:00-3:00pm) - This workshop will provide students with tips on how to prepare for a virtual interview and to make the best impression with interviewers. Register HERE.
- Resume Lab (Thursday 4/8, 1:00-2:00pm) - This workshop covers general resume tips and will then trasisition into getting feedback on resumes through breakout rooms and meetings with career advisors. It's recommended to have a draft copy of your resume if you'd like your resume to be reviewed. Register HERE.
