Flyer for Title IX and Consent Within the LGBTQ plus Community

The ASUCI Senate LGBTQ+ Committee is hosting *Title IX & Consent Within the LGBTQ+ Community* in partnership with the LGBTRC on May 17th from 11am to 12:30pm at the Cross Cultural Center.
This event brings awareness about the constitution ofwomx consent, reporting to Title IX and sexual assault within the LGBTQ+/Queer community. UCI Title IX Officers (Office of Equal Opportunity & Diversity) alongside speakers from the UCI CARE office, the UCI Counseling Center and elsewhere will be discussing resources on campus and opening up conversations about how to address what consent looks like within the LGBTQ+ community. This event hopes to empower students to educate themselves on these topics as well as advocate for themselves and others. *Title IX & Consent Within the LGBTQ+ Community* is being hosted in support of addressing concerns voiced by the LGBTQ+ community on campus.

Alongside the merits of community building, refreshments will be provided, as well as event merch.
