New Student Sweatshirt Pickup: New Dates! Oct 12-14

We're back on, Anteaters! The sweatshirts have arrived so new event dates are officially set. We can't wait for our second year students to finally get their FREE EMBROIDERED UCI SWEATSHIRTS and wear them around campus with pride. 

Sign up for an appointment to pick up your free sweatshirt, while supplies last, outside the Newkirk Alumni Center, the home to your 217,000+ alumni family. Also learn about the amazing campus and community resources available to you as a UCI student. Register for an appointment today!

Note: To adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols, appointments are required for all (no walk ins allowed). Additionally a student ID card or other form of photo ID is required at event check in.

This event is specifically for second year students who entered UCI last year during fall quarter 2020. If you are just entered UCI this fall quarter 2021, you will receive your sweatshirt in winter quarter 2022 at a special new student event. 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. Who is eligible for a free sweatshirt this fall quarter?
A. All new students from last year who entered UCI during Fall 2020 are eligible to pick up their free sweatshirt this fall quarter. If you just entered UCI during Fall 2021, you will receive your sweatshirt in winter quarter 2022 at a special new student event. 

Q. When can I pick up my sweatshirt?
A. Eligible students can pick up your sweatshirts by appointment during Week 3 of fall quarter (Oct 12-14). No walk ins will be accepted. 

Q. I can't make the appointment times. Can someone else pick up my sweatshirt for me?
A. You may send a friend to pick up a sweatshirt for you as long as they have a copy of your student ID card (or other photo ID) and a scheduled appointment. If you are sending someone to pick up for you, please schedule an appointment for them through your CampusGroups account (unless they already have their own appointment).

Q. When can I pick up my free sweatshirt if I'm a new student this year (entering Fall 2021)?
A. You will be eligible to pick up your free sweatshirt during Winter Quarter 2022. You will be notified to register via email sometime in December or January.

Q. Do I need to register now if I'm a new student entering this Fall 2021?
A. No, you do not need to register now if you are a new student entering this fall quarter 2021. You will be eligible to pick up your free sweatshirt during Winter 2021. This current registration form is strictly for last year's new students.

Q. Can my sweatshirt be shipped to me?
A. Unfortunately we cannot ship any sweatshirts due to our limited resources and capacity. 

Q. How can I pick up my sweatshirt?
A. Sign up for an appointment during your desired date and time. Arrive promptly for your scheduled appointment outside the Newkirk Alumni Center and check in with our staff to confirm appointment. 

Q. Do I need an appointment to pick up my sweatshirt?
A. Yes, all eligible students are required to have an appointment to pick up their sweatshirts. This helps us adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines.

Q. Why can't I register for an appointment?
A. Only eligible students will have access to registering for an appointment. If you meet the eligibility requirements but are still unable to register, please contact us at alumni@uci.edu so we can verify your student status. 

Q. Can I try on a sweatshirt on-site?
A. To adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols, students are not permitted to try on their sweatshirt on-site. A sizing guide will be provided in your appointment reminder email to help you determine your best sweatshirt fit.

Q. Can I exchange my sweatshirt for a different size? 
A. To adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols, we are not accepting any sweatshirt exchanges. A sizing guide will be provided in your appointment reminder email to help you determine your best sweatshirt fit.
