About Us

OCAEP at UCI is the student chapter extension of the Orange County AEP. We help connect students to the county and state AEP events - they hold educational workshops and webinars, networking events, a mentor program for students and early professionals, a scholarship program, job postings, and an annual statewide conference. We also hold events at UCI.

AEP's mission is to enhance, maintain and protect the quality of natural and human environments. Founded in 1974, we are a non-profit association of public and private sector professionals with a common interest in serving the principles underlying the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) which include environmental assessment, analysis, public disclosure and reporting.
