Gateway Initiative Workshop: Understanding Money

We all know it’s important to learn how to manage our money well. So we’re very excited to announce that, back by popular demand, UCI will be offering its second free financial literacy class that will help you do just that. It’s on Zoom on consecutive Wednesdays, April 16 (4-5 p.m.) and April 23 (4-5:30 p.m.). Register here! By attending, you’ll also be entered into a drawing to win free SSI Print Cards!

Developed by Bruce Miller, an honors grad of Dartmouth (AB) and Stanford (MBA), the course is called Understanding Money. He’s helped thousands of students learn how to get out/stay out of debt, save and invest for their financial freedom. In addition to his UCI classes that got rave reviews, he’s taught at schools such as UC Santa Barbara and San Francisco, Harvey Mudd, USC, Notre Dame and Princeton. His mission: “Financial literacy for all. For free.” Bruce does this entirely pro bono, including one-on-one Zoom calls afterwards, where you can confidentially discuss your personal money situation. And he has no relationship with any financial institution.

All students who attend, will get a special invite to this two part series the following week, 4/23 from 4:00 - 5:30. After completion of the two part series, all students will get free financial consultations from our guest presenter.
