This year, we will be celebrating 18 years of the entrepreneurial journey at the Paul Merage Business School. Hear pitches from the Finalists in five separate tracks (Business Products and Services, Consumer Products, Consumer Services, Life Science, Social Enterprise). A total of $100,000 in cash prizes will be awarded across the five tracks.
The New Venture Competition, hosted by the Beall Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the UC Irvine Paul Merage School of Business, is a 7-month-long entrepreneurship program dedicated to cultivating the entrepreneurial mindset and launching student startups in the Orange County area.

After two years of virtual-only ceremonies, we can’t wait to have you celebrate with us live and in person again with all our Finalists! We promise a creative, dynamic showcase of our Finalist teams and their ventures. In-person attendees are also welcome at the After Party, when you’ll get a chance to network with the Finalists and mingle with our innovation community.
