Details

Charlie Oh is Korean American playwright, lyricist, and actor. His play Long won the Kennedy Center's Paula Vogel Award in Playwriting. Oh is also a winner of the Disney/NMI 2018 New Voices Project and the Craig Carnelia Songwriting Award.

His play Coleman '72, will have its world premier in Southcoast Repertory, as part of the Pacific Playwright Festival. It is a play about food, memory, Korean American family, and their long road trip. He will share with the UCI community about his own journey as a playwright and the process of creating this play.
