We are pleased to announce the Sixth Annual Poetry Symposium: Healing and Hope Through Diverse Journeys, which will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 6 PM to 8 PM.

The symposium's overall theme will be: The impact of racism in all its expressions on healthcare providers and outcomes."
This year's symposium features poems that explore the effects of racism in all its forms. Works address the impact of racism and anti-racism on the care of patients and their families, personal suffering, loss of loved ones, fear regarding safety, inner turmoil, the joy of healing others, resilience in the face of hardship, building community for change, and more.
