Screening of Home/Less: LGBTQ+ refugee storytelling (The White Room at the Cross-Cultural Center)
Home/Less is a digital performance event centralizing the stories and experiences of LGBTQ refugees in Sweden who reflect on themes of “home.” The performance was recorded at the Strindberg Theatre and was a collaboration between the Newcomers Performance Project, University of the Arts in Stockholm, and the National Black Theatre of Sweden.

Roundtable Discussion with Q+A (The White Room at the Cross-Cultural Center) Following the screening, we will hold a roundtable discussion with: Debanuj DasGupta (Feminist Studies, UCSB), Dario Valles (Chicano/Latino Studies, CSULB and filmmaker) Anna Winget (UCHRI Scholar and artivist), Jeanne Scheper (Chair Gen&Sex, UCI) Discussion of the Crossing Pride Project and the experiences and key concerns of LGBTQ refugees transnationally.
