2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam-American War. This conflict not only divided the United States and Vietnam but galvanized the whole world. This Illuminations event features three Vietnamese American artist-scholars who work in visual arts, film, and theater to discuss how art allows us all to remember and represent the war. Such creative practices giving opportunities for healing from trauma, especially within refugee communities and polarized societies.
