The Humanities Core Student Art Exhibition is a creative project that encourages Humanities Core students to create artworks that interpret course themes and then showcases their work for the UCI community and the public. The event fosters conversations around important humanistic ideas while celebrating student creativity and creating connections among community members, students, faculty, and staff. This year, student art submissions interpret the course theme "Worldbuilding," with a focus on the ideas “Reimagine. Revise. Reclaim.” Each artwork is accompanied by the student’s reflective statement explaining their creative process and connections to course themes. Submissions are judged by Humanities Core faculty, and the winners will be announced at the Student Arts Exhibition. All are welcome. For more information on the competition and exhibition, see:
