JOHN LAWRENCE GRAHAM has been an Anteater since 1990. Before that he taught at USC for ten years after finishing his PhD at UC Berkeley. He is now a professor emeritus at the Merage School and has been a Director of the Center for Citizen Peacebuilding and the Long US/China Institute at UCI. John is an expert on international trade and negotiations. In addition to his academic work, this last year he has focused on what he calls his “family series.” All four books share a common theme crucial for todays complicated world – the strength and importance of extended families. John also served as an officer in the U.S. Navy UDT/SEAL Teams during the 1970s. His dog Rally was cast as “Crab” in Shakespear’s Two Gentlemen of Verona at the New Swan Theater.
