The New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players' production of H.M.S. Pinafore is musical satire at its best! Ride a wave of music and laughter as romantic sailors, sisters, cousins, and aunts sing and dance their way across the deck of a fanciful British naval vessel with an improbable name. The very proper Captain Corcoran and ridiculously pompous Sir Joseph Porter preside, the villainous Dick Deadeye speaks the ugly truth, and Little Buttercup reveals the outrageous mistake that allows true love to overcome all.

H.M.S. Pinafore has remained as popular in the new millennium as it was at its premiere more than 100 years ago. With infectious tunes, broad comedy, imaginative staging, lively choreography and beautiful costumes — it's no wonder this classic comedy still makes a modern-day splash!
