*This event is for students only who wish to learn how took and prepare these meals and to serve it to their peers the following day!*

Prospective menu:
Cambodian: green mango salad, amok (Cambodian coconut fish curry and rice), num ansom chek (rolled banana rice cake)
Vietnamese: sweet and sour soup (canh chua), coconut chicken curry with bread (cà ri gà), mung bean dessert (che dau xanh)

Our goal is to celebrate Southeast Asian culture for AANHPI Heritage Month and increase awareness of Southeast Asian healthcare disparities through conversations about the healing nature of food. We also want to highlight the fact that Orange County is home to the 2nd largest Vietnamese community (Garden Grove) and Cambodian community (Long Beach) in all of the U.S.! Community partners from OCAPICA, The Cambodian Family, and VACF will be in attendance as well.

05/09/24 from 11 am - 2 pm: Cooking the Cambodian and Vietnamese meal
05/10/24 from 10-1:30 p.m.: Presenting the meal, reflection/eat
