The HER Health Initiative at UCI is committed to advancing and protecting female reproductive rights, believing that access to comprehensive and equitable reproductive healthcare is essential for achieving gender equality. Our mission is to create a welcoming space where women can come together to learn, share, and advocate for their own rights and the rights of women in our nation. Through our efforts, we aim to empower women with the knowledge, support, and confidence needed to advocate for reproductive rights for themselves and others. Our organization focuses on raising awareness of the critical issues surrounding reproductive justice and healthcare access. By hosting educational events, partnering with advocacy groups, and working with healthcare professionals, HER Health Initiative provides resources and learning opportunities to help our members become informed advocates. We emphasize the importance of understanding the broader social, economic, and political challenges that impact women’s health, striving to inspire action and dialogue within our campus and community. HER Health Initiative envisions a world where reproductive health is viewed as a right, not a privilege. Through our collective efforts, we strive to inspire a new generation of advocates who are ready to support one another, challenge inequalities, and work toward a future in which all women feel safe, informed, and empowered to make choices about their health.
