Mission
The Be Well OC Mobile Response Team comprises two Crisis Intervention Specialists (CIS) who provide on-campus assessment and crisis stabilization services for mild to moderate behavioral health needs (7 days per week, 8 am-8 pm PST). Crisis Intervention Specialists are specifically trained in community assessment and stabilization best practices to effectively intervene for those experiencing mental health or substance use challenges. Calls for service can be sent to the non-emergency line at 949-824-5233. The Mobile Response model utilizes a voluntary approach that fosters trust and long-term engagement with clients and community members. Mobile team members collaborate with campus and community partners to connect clients with the right services, which may include non-medical transportation to support access to appropriate resources. The Campuswide Honors Student Council, or CHSC, is an affiliate of the Campuswide Honors Program (CHP) that represents the students of the program. With over 3,000 alumni and 700 current members, the CHSC serves as the directing student leadership body for the Campuswide Honors community. We are dedicated to promoting academic excellence, developing strong student-faculty relations, and coordinating social, academic, and community service events for CHC students.

We are the UCI Neurodiversity Support Group. Neurodiversity describes the notion that people interpret and interact with the world in diverse ways, that there is no one single right way to think, learn, or behave, and that the spectrum of this diversity should not be viewed as deficits. The goal of the UCI Neurodiversity Project is to support the efforts of neurodiverse or neurodivergent individuals to succeed in the physical sciences. We seek to promote the success of neurodiverse individuals in the physical sciences. This group is inclusive of students and postdocs at all levels and seeks to provide support to those that identify as having neurodivergent traits, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other neurological or developmental disorders or learning disabilities.
