About Us

This organization was formed to express members' interest in baking, develop baking skills and utilize organization members' talents to make various baked goods for underserved youth in our community. This group is meant to give every and all UCI students interested in baking an outlet to meet with like-minded people and learn from each other on how to be better bakers, while simultaneously serving the community. Over the course of the school year we will complete a number of community service projects, primarily through the network of For Goodness Cakes, a non-profit organization where volunteers bake various desserts to celebrate special occasions for youth living in foster care, homeless shelters, and other alternative living agencies. It is through these projects, as well as meetings and other club functions, that members will serve their community, improve their baking skills, and foster a network of peers similar to them.
