Garden Festival: Take part in fun festival activities and learn more about UCI's involvement opportunities in sustainability, gardening, waste reduction, and more. Boothing partners include EarthReps, ASUCI Garden Commission, Arroyo Vista, and more.
FREECYCLE Swap Meet: Looking to lighten your move out load? Give something to someone in need? Or simply just want FREE stuff? Bring and leave any items you no longer need and take home some goodies in return. This is a true Swap Meet. No money exchanged. Donations/Exchange items accepted on site day of or ahead of time at a boxes in Sustainability Resource Center/Rise Suite/Student Center. Swap/Donate Items in Clean, Good Condition.
Film Screening: The celebrations continue from 7-9pm as we will be screening a documentary on the AV Lawn with "Wasted: A Food Waste Story." Through the eyes of famous chefs, audiences will see how they make the most of every kind of food, transforming what most people consider scraps into incredible dishes that create a more secure food system. "WASTED!" takes you around the world, showing the 1.3 billion tons of food that gets thrown out each year and the people fighting hardest to prevent it.
