Amnesty International at UCI is committed to championing human rights and security issues that affect millions globally every day. From combatting those who attempt to roll back human rights, to presenting the facts on global inequality and endemic conflict, our mission is to bring not just awareness, but substantive change to places in the world that are kept under the heel of hate and abuse. Our vision is of a world in which every person enjoys all of the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights instruments. Through our mobilisation and well-placed effort, we can show light to those trapped by the chains of hate and violence.
