About Us
AGSA shall aspire to build a community of mutual support for graduate African students at UCI. This includes promoting academic excellence, mental wellbeing, social and cultural exchange and enhancing the experiences of African students at UCI. AGSA will operate in three arms: networking, mentorship, and capacity building for students of African descent. This includes bridging the gap between academics and postgraduate career in the US for African students.
